In the field of Public Administration, it is our duty to serve the public. This does not mean just my community or just the group of people that I relate to the most. This means to serve everyone and provide them with equal and equitable opportunities in America. Unfortunately, we have witnessed the exact opposite of that. Acknowledging that certain people are treated differently is the first step, but not enough. There are marginalized communities who have been negatively affected by our nation's policies and we need to stand up for them and not allow this to continue happening.

           

My public service philosophy is simple, speak up loud and often because not everyone has the privilege to do so. Be the voice for those without one.
