Thank you for visiting my E-Portfolio. I hope that through this channel I can show you a little about who I am in this program, what I am passionate about and what I have accomplished.

I received my Bachelor’s degree from San Diego State University in Public Administration in May 2016. After graduation, I set my sights on Auburn University to pursue my Master of Public Administration.

My time at Auburn has been full of amazing experiences. The two organizations that I have primarily been involved with are the Black Graduate and Professional Student Organization (BGPSA) and the International City/County Management Association (ICMA). Both of these organizations have helped me grow personally and professionally. ICMA has allowed me to travel to national and local conferences and network with practitioners in local government which has been an amazing experience for me. Being on the executive board for BGPSA I have been able to mentor minority undergraduate students who have an interest in graduate education. And, I wouldn't be an Auburn Tiger if I didn't mention football on the loveliest village on the plains. Football in the South has definitely been an experience on its own. War Eagle!

The Auburn MPA program has been monumental in assisting me with determining what my passion is and how I can incorporate that into my life goals. Because of the faculty, classes, experiences, and mentors I have had in this program, my next step in life has been made clear. I have an intense desire to not only acknowledge the different impacts minorities and low socioeconomic communities experience in America, but to also analyze why it occurs and how we can change it. I plan on pursuing a doctoral degree.
